To the right we have the Salem weather forecast. Also an interactive turtle (our mascot) and at the very bottom of the page is an interactive kayaking game where you save the turtles by getting them to the beach. You get to be the kayak.

Independence to Salem is 11.5 miles.
Salem to Wheatland Ferry is 12.5 miles.
We are planning an overnight kayaking trip for next month. We plan on spending the night on an island on the Willamette River! Sound like FUN!
